When chartering a gullet in
Turkey, you might consider going to Greece for visiting some of the beautiful islands like Symi, Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos
or Patmos.

1) There are extra harbor taxes for Greek waters
(about 300 € one week/boat)

|
The "Aegean Clipper"
is a so-called Gulet, a typical Turkish sailing ship. "Gulet" has become a synonym for a ship with greatest
possible comfort. Originally, these ships were used as transport- and loading boats on the turkish coast. Compared
to the Croatian motor sailing yachts, the gulets are comparably comfortable and elegant yachts with an amazing
sailing capacity. The sails of the "Aegean Clipper" have an impressive, 600 square metres large surface
area, and the superstructure of the ship is therefore kept fairly low.
Ergün, its captain and owner,
had four other ships before the "Aegean Clipper", which was built in 1999 and can thus be seen as the
highlight of his long experience.
The 12 double cabins are located on the middle deck. They are only accessible from the inside of the ship, but
have small windows to the outside. Four of these cabins have a french bed, the others have two separate bunks that
may be aligned beside each other or on two levels. All cabins are furnished with a private bathroom and toilet.

had four other ships before the "Aegean Clipper", which was built in 1999 and can thus be seen as the
highlight of his long experience.
With its 33 m Teak-Deck, 12 double cabins on the middle deck, luxurious interior decoration with an american bar
and numerous cushioned chairs is the M/S AEGEAN CLIPPER is a very comfortable boat. The speed of driving is approximately
9 knots when the ship is powered by the engine and about 6-8 knots under sails.
This beautiful yacht can accommodate
up to 24 guests and has numerous amenities, including air
conditioning. There are 12
cabins, some with a single berth and some with a double berth. Each cabin has a large private bath with enclosed
shower area and plenty of hot water. Indoor and outdoor dining facilities, with a spacious salon. The yacht comes
equipped with surf boards, canoes and a speedboat for water ski and bingo rides.

On M/S AEGEAN CLIPPER you will be served Turkish cuisine at its best.
Full board (3 meals + tea time) at a price of € 28,- p/person. If there are vegetarians among
you, no problem at all, you just tell us, the Turkish cuisine is the best solution for that. Soft Drinks and alcoholic
drinks are extra, we offer you to buy them in a supermarket and you just pay us the bill plus a service-extra of
only 10% (that's for the crew):

Let's be honest about
air-condition on gullets
There is nearly none of the gullet
charter-companies who tells you the truth about air-condition on Gulets. Yes, some do have AC and you think you
can switch it on when you like. It's not! On a boat the AC can only run when the generator is on, or in a harbor
when connected to 220 Volt. But mainly you are in anchor bays, often next to a neighbor who doesn't like the noise
of your generator and you wouldn't like it either during the night for example.
So most of the gullets have come to a gentlemen's agreement not to disturb each other -
AC will be used on the most of the boats 2-3 hours in the morning or at night from 20 to 24 hours to cool down
the cabins during the hot months.
